Routine Maintenance & Service Intervals
The CE-UWL is built for a 7–10 year service life with simple routine maintenance: a five-minute daily drain-and-rinse, a weekly descale and jet check, and periodic heater and gasket inspection. Keeping filters clean and water soft is most of the job.
Daily (after shift)
- Drain the wash tank
- Rinse the filter screens
- Wipe down the chamber and door seals
Weekly
- Descale rinse if in a hard-water area
- Inspect spray jets for partial blockage and clear them
Monthly
- Check the booster and wash-tank heaters
- Inspect door gaskets for wear
Quarterly / annual
- Full descaling of heaters and chamber
- Pump bearing check
- Replace worn gaskets and jets
Consumables
- Door and chamber gaskets
- Spray jets / nozzles
- Filter screens
Common faults & remedies
- Poor wash result → clean filters and jets; check wash temperature
- Rising cycle time → descale scaled nozzles
- Weak rinse → check booster heater and inlet pressure
- Water not draining → clear the drain trap and outlet
- Door won’t start cycle → check the safety interlock
- Low wash temp → inspect the wash-tank heater
- Spotting on ware → check rinse temperature and water hardness
- Leaks at door → inspect and replace the gasket
- Tripping breaker → verify supply rating and cable
- Noise from pump → check for debris and bearing wear
- Steam escaping → confirm exhaust hood operation
- Scale build-up → fit or service the water softener
Lifespan
With this routine, expect 7–10 years of commercial service. SUS 304 construction and the IP55 pump motor are the basis for that life.
